Shopping With Shannon: I Walked Into Macy's With $100 and Came Out With This Designer Outfit
I've been claiming for awhile to my friends that you can walk into almost any store with $100 and come out with a full outfit. I think a lot of times, we can hear a store name and immediately price it in our heads. Macy's is one of those stores. I don't know why because I've always found the best deals there, but some would be surprised to hear you could snag a full outfit there for under $100!
Here are my tips to finding a whole new outfit at Macy's for under $100:
Do Not Be Afraid Of The Clearance Rack!
I know it's not as pretty as the displays of clothes not on sale, but it's definitely worth the visit! Go in and search for the gems!
Remember, you are here for a complete outfit. It is tempting to lollygag around the store and grab ten pairs of swimsuits to try on, but it's not what you came here for. Stay on track!
Remember Your Theme.
Is this a date night outfit or a work day outfit? I was looking specifically for a breezy professional look, so it was easy to stay in my margins. Blazer= Good. Ripped Jeans= Bad.
Yes, this was all under $100!! I was especially blessed with my new lucky brand sandals that were under $40!
Look For Those DEALS!
These lucky brand sandals are a full 51% off! Plus, they work with my theme. SCORE.
The Bigger The Brand, The Better The Deal Will Be On Clearance.
Did I think I was going to snag a DKNY blazer for under $24 when I walked into Macy's? No, I did not, but it was an awesome surprise!
Make Sure The SHOES ARE COMFORTABLE.
There is no reason we have to be in pain just to look professional. Take the time to find a shoe that matches your look AND is comfortable. Your feet will thank you!
